Snap Edge edge protection systems

Snap Edge is a new edge protection system for edging and securing paved areas. It has been developed for commercial use and can replace kerbs, kerbstones or backfilling with concrete. Save time and money.

And it's that easy:

  • Variant 1 (before paving)

    1. Excavation of construction site

    2. Placing in the crushed stones

    3. Leveling and compacting the crushed stones bed

    4. Connect the required snap edge elements and cut the rear stabilizers for inner and outer radii or inner or outer corners

    5. Attach snap edge to the compacted and levelled surface using the pegs*

    6. Apply fine chippings and remove them 

    7.Lay your slabs or paving stones. 

    8.Backfill snap edge with topsoil, gravel, cattle mulch, etc. 

    9. Done

    * In the pavement area, place a peg approx. every 60cm. In the area with traffic or in the corner area, a peg approx. every 30cm

  • Variant 2 (after paving)

    1. Excavation of the construction site

    2. Placing the crushed stone

    3. Levelling and compacting the ballast bed

    4. Bring in fine chippings and remove them

    5. Lay your slabs or paving stones

    6. Set the paving areas with Snap Edge

    7. Connect the required Snap Edge elements and cut the rear stabilisers for inner or outer radii or inner or outer corners 

    8. Fix Snap Edge to the compacted and levelled surface* using the ground pegs
